Spolapon AES 242 is a mild anionic surfactant used as the most common ingredient in the formulations of laundry, cleaning and dishwashing detergents, personal care products and cosmetics. It provides copious stable foam, excellent detergency, wetting and emulsifying properties and easy adjustment of the final product’s consistency.
Spolapon AES 242 is highly valued for its low skin irritation and ready biodegradation. Such properties make the product suitable for use in numerous industrial applications such as industrial foaming agents, agriculture, construction industry, oil fields etc.
By default, Spolapon AES 242 is preserved with formaldehyde. For use in cosmetics and personal care we offer preservation with sodium benzoate (Spolapon AES 242 B), CMIT/MIT (Spolapon AES 242 M), glutaraldehyde (Spolapon AES 242 GA), or variant with alkaline pH (Spolapon AES 242 alkal).
